WELCOME

Hello, and congratulations on taking this step to address aspects of your life that may be troubling you. I look forward to collaborating with you in psychotherapy to identify and cultivate your personal resources to overcome the challenges you are facing. I'll help you to face and resolve past difficulties, grow and flourish in your present life, and pursue healthy, fulfilling goals for a rich and rewarding future.

Of course we all need help at times. That's what I am here for. I specialize in treating people with various forms of psychological distress, including past traumas, anxiety and depression, and relationship and self-image problems. I work with compassion and humor, and maintain an active approach as a psychologist.

I value and deeply respect the unique attributes of all whom I treat. Strengths and solution-focused, proudly gay-affirming and deeply committed to human rights, social justice, and anti-bigotry, I welcome clients from all cultural backgrounds, nationalities, racial and ethnic groups, religions, gender identities, sexual orientations, and across the range of age from adolescence to the elderly. It has been my sincere honor to treat veterans in the Bronx, NY for the past 10 years. From this experience, I have gained expertise in addressing the unique issues of veterans and members of the armed services, and their families. Having worked with artists, writers and performers, I am keenly aware and respectful of essential self-reflective and revelatory elements of the creative process.

Should you choose to enter psychotherapy with me, together we will examine and build on the knowledge, abilities, skills, courage, and creativity you already possess to strive toward your goals.

I wish you the best, kris
